I drive 37 minutes from my driveway to my parking lot. I use that time to get my mind ready for the day, and decompress on the way home. It’s a good time to separate from teacher mode to wife/mom mode.
25-35 minutes depending on traffic but i enjoy the commute
If I walk, about 4 minutes 😊
I teach HS and my son just graduated from my school, my daughter will be a sophomore this year. It means many students have been to my house, eaten at my table, ridden in my car. It also means your kids won’t be able to get away with anything cuz kids you don’t even know very well will inform on them better than the CIA. My poor son was the only one at our school two years ago to pass the CLEP test in US History. I knew moments after the kids came back from testing because kids in class told me. He didn’t even have the opportunity to share his great news at the end of the day
