Too early, but if the price is right grab it. Use an app like Hopper to monitor/notify you when it’s time to buy or just wait

If the price is right book it now.
Usually 3-6 months before just in case things change
Hopper has been pretty good and consistent in predicting fares. I’ve used it a few times and it’s spot on.

For our trip leaving end of June, I started watching prices last fall. They just kept going up and never went back down. We booked in December. March is off season though and prices generally should be decent up until even 2 months before. That’s how it was this past year
If you’re anything like me, a couple weeks in advanced…because I’m a poor vacation planner.
Right now airlines have no rebooking fees. If you book now and the price drops just rebook and get an airline credit good for a year.
If the prices are reasonable, take them!! I booked a trip to Switzerland for June 2023 back in September 2022 for $700/ticket. Those tickets are now $1,300+.
Way too early. 3-6 months is the golden period. I also set google flight alert to keep me updated for when prices rise/fall.
Might not even appear on the airlines website
Bought in December for an august trip to Amsterdam. Paid $2700, last month flights were $8k

Damn. Where are you coming from
As soon as possible these past 2 years. Especially if looking for award tickets. But like others said, most airlines have no change fees, so take advantage and book early.

A few weeks to 2 months before for summer travel. Less in off season
