How far in advance do you book your plane tickets for international travel? Looking to find that pricing sweet spot for a few trips next year.

For international, the earlier the better. I've booked as early as 6 months. Especially if u intend to travel around the holidays.

Absolutely the earlier the better. Try to go to places during off-season if you can. Europe gets realllllly cheap during winter-early spring.

For international flight bookings, always 60 days before the day you fly. The earlier or closer to the flying date is always expensive

This is tried and tested. On average 60 days is the best time to book.

I book as soon as I know my plans are firm. Beware though, you may find the airlines change their schedules after you book, and you end up with an uncomfortably early departure or a dangerously short or an inconveniently long layover

A week or two. Well, it really depends if you're planning to travel during peak season. If that's the case, you have to book months before.

Do you ever request a certain amount of points or just leave it to the hotel to decide? Dealing with Marriott ruining two nights of vacation and feel like they will lowball me so im debating saying something like I think 2 nights points are adequate but it is way more forward them I would typically ever be🫣

Anyone miss the days of 9/11 when we were all united? Couldn’t drive down the street without seeing an American Flag in someone’s yard, posted up on a business, or streaming from car windows...... as tragic as it all was, I miss our post 9/11 country. We came together.

I wonder if we’ll ever get back to that.

Even in my own family... the only time we all come together is when a family member dies, and even that was soured this year when my aunt passed because of political disagreement. 💔
