How far in advance would you get to DCA with holiday traffic? I usually get there an hour/hour and half before boarding time.

Is anyone new to the city (or for whatever reason), doesn’t have a set friends group, and not going anywhere for the holiday open to the idea of having a Thanksgiving dinner or brunch at a restaurant together? Most of my friends are in late 20s but I am 34F and open to hanging out with any one in 20s-40s :)

I’m so burnt out it’s insane. I can’t wait for Christmas & to take some real time off

Grew up in a dysfunctional/abusive family but I told myself I am strong and I can handle it. But turns out I cant. I have a drinking problem and get really violent and abusive to my bf just like I was treated growing up. I told myself I will never be like them but I cant seem to break the pattern. I hate myself.
