It's always been a dream of mine to work at Google, specifically as a UX designer (currently transitioning into UX from visual design). I've been so afraid to apply to any jobs with UX title, Google or not, because I'm always doubting myself and telling myself I'm still under-qualified.
UX designers & hiring managers, what are the skills a designer must have to be "qualified" for a UX position? Keywords on resume? Certifications? Thank you all in advance!

Generally, 6 weeks from accepting the offer is about the limit, especially considering everyone is desperate for talent right now. Best I did was 2 months, using ‘i have a trip planned for [7 weeks from now] so I can start [5 weeks from now] if you guys prefer, but I’d need that time off’

That said, remember it could take you some time to find a job. Start date might qualify as a ‘cross that bridge when you come to it’ problem 😏
Why October? Bonus payout? New company may be able to offer sign on that’s comparable
I’m getting married in September so would want to start the job after the whole thing
