How flexible is Accenture for travel post-COVID or at least staffing you on local assignments? I’m in NYC. Potentially interested in ACN but would not want to travel while pregnant / after having the baby. I’d be open to onsite if it’s in the tri-state area. Not sure if this is a realistic ask though.

ACN has a benefit where you can be local for a year after baby arrives. I didn’t need to use it myself, but I thought that was a great idea.

I think it also depends on your practice / leadership. The benefit is real but I know some people that didn’t want to but had to travel one offs due to leadership pressure. They were not in NYC though.

I just had a baby and do not want to travel ever. I am going to see how things play out. I’m in banking so obviously lots of opportunity here but I still traveled a lot pre-Covid. Leadership is supportive so we will see. For what it’s worth leadership is saying postCovid will likely be hybrid model.

My manager put a surprise calendar invite twice now to go to home office without consulting dates to see if we were available. I already travel a lot and this boundary is super important to me. Am I right or wrong?

Hi Recruiters,
Let’s talk cover letters.
What do you think makes a good one? Length? Content? What should definitely be in there and definitely be left out?
What’s the biggest mistake you see people make?
Who is actually reading them? You? The department heads?
Bonus points if you can give insight into the way this works with the Creative Department. (I’m a Copywriter.)

Thanks in advance!
