When my boss is in or when she’s out?

SVPCd1 - maybe as an SVPcd you should consider why your creatives are burned out.

Does any Copywriter that selected between 1-3 wants to build a portfolio with me and change this scenario? Lol
@CS1 Perhaps because we don’t promote and or keep around bitter/negative/burned out killjoys?
4, because I’m mid/sr level and doing everything below and above myself. My boss is the head of accounts and I have no team. #partyofone

Svpcd1 are you implying that about me? If so that’s nuts. I was just making an observation

@CS1 I don’t know you so I’m not implying anything. I was giving a possible reason for your observation. People that have low job satisfaction don’t tend to stick around, and if they do it will be unlikely they are pushing out quality work, meeting deadlines, pitching in to help team members, engaging with senior management etc etc, you know, things that actually get you promoted. There are exceptions I’m sure.
@SAD1 as far as I know my creatives aren’t burned out. It means it’s doing my job as a manager. And to my above point, it isn’t your boss’s job to make sure you’re fulfilled and happy all of the time. I care deeply about my team and their mental health but I’m not a psychologist or their friend; I’m their boss. A lot of the onus of how someone is feeling falls on their shoulders.
You’re probably going to read that as I’m being cold and callous, but I assure you I’m the opposite of that.
