I'm wondering if anyone moved between MBB firms? Is it at all possible? What was the rationale and impressions?
Backpack recommendations? Starting at MBB soon.
If FAANG PM roles are the new “prestige”, what graduate programs guarantee employment into FAANG at the same rate M7 lines you up for roles at MBB? Coding bootcamps don’t seem to be answer....neither does “Master in X”🧐
Which of B4 + MBB pays SWE/DS the most? I know they can't compare to FAANG, but just among these guys, who pays the most? Who has the best talent/tech implementations?
Has anyone regretted the decision to work at one MBB over another when you had more than one MBB offer? Why did you regret it?
Weiß hier jemand was die MBB Einstiegsgehälter für einen Masterabsolventen in der Schweiz sind? Gibt bisher noch keinen Schweizer Bowl deswegen Frage ich Mal hier

How’s the tech scene in Chicago? Anybody jumping from MBB to Tech / FAANG? Or do you have to go to SF/Seattle for the 💵💵💵?
Any advice on going from consultant at D (2.5 YOE post-undergrad) to MBB? I work in supply chain technology and operations in a product-manager type role.
Did anyone make a transition from being an MBB data scientist to a FAANG data scientist? 1. How did you differentiate your value proposition? Given the solid technical bar, does consult and business skills create an advantage? 2. How do you feel about the change? 3. Any tips on the preparation process?
Starting as ASC/C at MBB soon and have zero clothes to wear in-office/client (coming from advanced degree where I wear shorts 24/7). I'm wide AF (5'9 220) from lifting and built like a rectangle. If you had to rebuild your entire business casual wardrobe from scratch for a non-slim build, where would you go? MTM or off the rack + tailor (in house or external)? Tried some charles tyrwhitt shirts but I'm all over their size chart so they would take a ton of work to fix.
9 months ago, I posted on this app that I was leaving FAANG for MBB. Every single responder discouraged me from doing it given worse WLB, less pay per hour worked, etc. I’m here to say that you were all correct. Every single one of you. I would go back in an instant if I could.
I'm a Deloitte Tech Strategy & Architecture Senior Consultant with a Haas MBA looking to transfer to MBB. I'm up for manager this year and appreciate that if you move over you are expected to reset to first year post-MBA but has anybody been able to negotiate maybe a 2nd year post-MBA or even a manager/PL/EM entry? What specific tech skills are MBB looking for that they would be willing to offer flexibility on starting level. Again this is for the consulting not expert tracks at MBB. Many thanks in advance!
Hello All, I am looking to transition into consulting. I see chatter on other bowla that MBB hiring is on 🔥. I have a PhD in mechanical engineering plsu 7yoe in sales and project management. Would anyone be willing to look at my resume and provide feedback and possibly referrals? Thank you.
Anyone at MBB want to put me in for a referral? Coming from a Big 4. Not seeing much growth and opportunity in the firm and partners and pipeline for the foreseeable future. (cont.)
I have 32k miles with THY that are about to expire. Normally I'd go ahead and book a flight, but I can't project which countries might be locked down again 5-6 months from now (haven't accrued enough PTO to travel in near future). The only other way to keep the miles is to pay $10 per 1000 miles, as far as I know. Are there other strategies?
I keep hearing that the CFP is worth it. What makes it worth it? The knowledge, the credibility, the confidence? All of the above I assume. Do you have prospects seek you out?

Hi! I was trying to figure out the right bowl for this question and I think this is the right one but if not lmk. My granddad purchased his house in about 1980 & had to do a rvrs mortgage around the time that my grandma passed in 2010. Now that I have a pretty nice salary, I want to purchase his house in the event that he passes. Does anyone have any tips on how to go about this? Would I need to buy it back from the bank & would it be the current value he owes? Can I start the process now?

Anyone have insight/advice on final round interviews for Oliver Wyman FS as an experienced hire?
I think I smile and nod too much. How do I stop? I don’t want to smile all the time but it’s like I’ve been conditioned over time. It honestly is draining. Especially on zoom I can see myself and in my head I’m like wow I am a wreck smiling and nodding vigorously at the most inane things.
I’ve been trying out the whole green smoothie thing, and I really just can’t get into it. How do you guys do it?
