I’m in a rather peculiar situation. I have been in the HR field going on 4 years, I have over 11 years of management experience, I got my PHR last year and I recently graduated with my MBA with a concentration in HR this month. I am ready for a more challenging role. However, there doesn’t seem to be much available at my current company. However, I am going on 5 months pregnant with the expectation of being out in October. I feel like once I mentioned my pregnancy I was in a holding pattern.

Is there an advertising agency (other than Wieden, I get it) that doesn’t seem to suck or have major issues? It feels like opinions for any agency being brought up on here tends to always end up eliciting a negative response somehow.

I’m currently working with a senior level HR candidate. This individual has a doctorate in business with a focus in HR, her SPHR, Federal, and private sector experience at the singer level, and has a fabulous personality. I’m curious is anyone else having difficulties play some candidates like this? At this point I’m starting to think it’s racial or her sex based of the lack of interest in this candidate. I recently accepted a job offer for $85,000.The offer letter stated, “your gross semi-monthly salary shall be $3,541.66 which is equivalent to $85,000.00 per annum”.I signed/accepted.Today I received my first pay check and noticed my gross semi-monthly salary was 3,269.23.
I expected 3,541.66 to be the gross as stated in my offer letter.After using a salary calculator I realized that a mistake was made on my offer letter. 3,541.66 is equivalent to 92,068.60/yr. What do I do? I want my $3,541.66
