How hard is it to get CHRP designation? I am in Canada working 1.5 years in HR (TA & People/Ops), wondering if the professional designation is worth doing part time on the side.

There are several pathways to designation to recognize that both education and experience add value. It varies a bit by province, so it’s best to look up your provincial CPHR board.

Has anyone done one of those wine bundles with points promotions (i.e. Vinesse Wines) where you get say 6 wines for $6.99 each and 10k miles for an airline (AA in this case)? Good/bad experiences with it? I keep getting emails. Obviously will be lower shelf wines but might as well get some miles vs just buying at my grocery store. Thanks all!

Hello everyone, I am a fresher and I recently joined a management consulting firm(3 months) with 12+LPA and I realised MC is not for me.
I tried giving it a shot for the first 2 months but then I am just dragging there after. Anyhow yk how it's in MBA, campus placement leli without a thought plus lack of experience in everything. It's tough out there.
I am desperate to switch to creative/marketing/branding/advertising. If anyone could help/guide/refer me in the right direction that'd be great.

I’m in a rather peculiar situation. I have been in the HR field going on 4 years, I have over 11 years of management experience, I got my PHR last year and I recently graduated with my MBA with a concentration in HR this month. I am ready for a more challenging role. However, there doesn’t seem to be much available at my current company. However, I am going on 5 months pregnant with the expectation of being out in October. I feel like once I mentioned my pregnancy I was in a holding pattern.

Does anyone have recommendations for specific products for an ergonomic desk setup? I currently use a small desk, my laptop, and a travel monitor. My back is starting to hurt so I'm looking for a good keyboard, adjustable monitors, and a good desk (perhaps standing desk). I'm overwhelmed at all the options out there, so any recommendations would be helpful!

As an alumni of a target-school, I’m honestly fed-up with the industry being so elitist. Your future career path shouldn’t be so laregely dictated by what you did prior to age 18 or which school you could afford.
