It depends on where you come from. Generally speaking, it’s hard to move to strategy firm from a non-strat, however it’s absolutely possible

Not too hard. I knew a guy that didn't get finaled anywhere during MBA recruiting that then got a job at LEK because he's super intense and they could probably tell he was going to work the requisite hours. That and he passed all the market sizing questions
