I got interviews by simply applying to analyst roles found on LinkedIn. However, I couldn't get past the technical questions and super day at large banks. The appeal has lessened to me the past few months so have stopped applying more
Same experience. Technical interviews are like 30 hours of work they want over a weekend, and super hard. Realized that is not the life, especially for the lower-level roles. Not gonna give up a 45 hour week for an extra $20k.

It was pretty easy for me, just applied online from FDD. got lucky most likely
Now that’s impressive while woking 80plus hours a week!
But do you think having a CPA is helpful on the job? Or do u think an MBA would help more?

It’s not hard to get an interview. But you need to understand the basics and technicals for IB. Just use WSO. You need to put some work into everything you do lol. No one just offers you a job
I interviewed for IB as an audit associate. Didn't make it too far in the process but that's my own fault.

You can just apply. You gotta get in early though. IB jobs get so many applicants that if you’re late to the game, you’re likely to get denied due to capacity or they just won’t respond for weeks/months until they’ve hired who they needed.
