No. Big four will take any experience hires
Honestly I didn't know if I wanted to be in big four. That's why I went for industry right after school. But then I realized having a big four name on your resume boosts your career. So one of my friend's friend referred me and I was hired. I have been here 8montjs now and I think it's honestly depends a lot on people/team you get put on more than the projects. My team is really good. My experience have been amazing thus far. It's been super busy crazy hours but I enjoy it. I was dreading coming here but now I love it. So I would say try it and if you don't like it you always have the option of going back and try other things.
Such early on in our careers, we have the time to pick and choose. That's what I'm doing. Don't stress. Do what you love and everything fall into place.
No as in not hard? What's the easiest way to get in the door as an experienced hire?
Best way is to know people
I pressed post before I should have.. But I moved from industry to big four as an experienced hire.. I got referred in and I barely had two interviews and I was hired. Make sure you know someone. It makes the process easier..
Thx! I have a few connections at big 4 firms. Trying to figure out if it's right for me.
