I would imagine pretty hard... producing is skill learned with time. I would imagine you’d have to start at the bottom with a major pay cut and work your way up. Good luck!
Difficult. Without production experience, you’ll have to take a step back and be a PA, if you can get someone to hire you. Taking classes in production could help
The account I work on (QSR) does a lot of tv spots so have a fair bit of experience from the agency side. Would this translate over or is it completely new?
But also- if your heart isn’t in account mgmt- make the leap! Take the cut and work your way up.
Take some filmmaking lessons. Might cond in handy
✋🏻used to be a commercial producer. No way you can just jump into that there’s so much to learn about budgets and unions and gear and process. Most likely would need to be a PA first...but if you are good you can move up very quickly in the freelance world.
Account only has high level insight into what a producer is doing. You would have a leg up, but would still need to start at the bottom.
What producers do on commercials is so much deeper than you can understand from the account or creative side.
