Anyone from Boston Consulting Group Boston Consulting Group (BCG) working in non-consulting - Technology/Engineering/Global Services?
How's the work life balance? Glassdoor reviews are full of "long working hours" and hence wanted to know if it's the same with non-consulting folks as well?
How far is it true across the organisation?
Please help me shed some light to decide.
Thanks.

It's not. Was offered. Declined.
Not hard. Accenture pays more fyi
Easy peasy lemon squeezy
I have personally interviewed 3 people and didn’t hire any
Not sure about MC but for tech consulting, about 60% of my coworkers from my projects this year came from Accenture
Only leave if Deloitte can pay you more - they offered me 95k at the Consultant level and said that was upper bands - told them I’m already at 109k 😂
About as hard as it is to get into Harvard
I thought doing a lateral move to D, they’d give you at least 15-20 % more base? Assuming TC/MC/Digital
Not hard and there are a lot of ACN folks coming over. I was under the impression that we paid 10% or so better at lower levels and I know I make about 10-20% more at SM based on what folks who have come over have told me. Partners make quite a bit more since Deloitte is still private.

A1 why?
Did it. I was poached tho 🙃
In MC, I know very few from ACN. Tech is a different story. Depends on your area.
A2 is that in general or dependent on region?
A4, I was hearing that there was a lot more work expected and the offer didn't seem to match the amount of extra work.
Not hard right now if you have good skills. We are hiring like crazy to keep up with demand.
