I don’t think the implementation experience is required for Solutions architect role.
Define implementation experience. In my mind hands on experience is definitely required, but not necessarily development experience
What does your role involve today? Do you have any experience leading an SFDC Implementation?
On my second build out for a small company. Different products, and services, one more financial services and another software sales. I'm very hands on but have an offshore team that I lean on heavily these days.
Salesforce core platform (crm). I can help .
I guess my biggest fear is presenting myself as someone that can do the job, but I have no idea what these jobs really entail on a day to day basis. It's like picking up a new sport that I have never played before. I assume I have the skills, but don't know how to apply them in a Solution Architect role.
Or SFMC? I can help with that too. Not a hard jump if you understand the discovery questions - you can always get past the delivery tech with time.. but just remember, you will be judged accordingly to your peers may have years more tech experience in delivery
not as astute in MC. or Service Cloud for that matter. All in Sales mostly
