Thoughts for tax practice? My chargeable hours per year is around 1100 to 1200 as a Senior Manager. I'm guessing this would go up significantly? If so, I'll need a large raise ($225k now in HCOL...what's realistic at big4? $280k?)

6 months of experience btw

Were you an audit senior before?Probably good chances- dm if you want to try EY, I’m in FDD

Not hard at all.

Probably easier than big4 audit to tas dm if interested in pwc

Only one way to find out, DM me for a Deloitte referral 🙂

Of don’t find out and stay in MM, dm me for referral

been in industry (small companies) for 5 years with an active CPA. Wanted to get in SEC reporting roles but almost every company requires 2-year public accounting exp. Now applying for public accounting firms entry level positions but almost all firms HR asked if I had ever worked in firms. Got rejection emails from firms all the time. Is this a dead lock? firms exp matters much more than a CPA license?

Hi I have 5+ yrs of bedside clinical research nurse experience and have been trying to pivot to the CRO world. I have applied to over 40+ positions and keep getting rejected. I have reformatted my resume to ATS but that doesn’t seem to be working either. Why is it so hard to get into the CRO industry and why is my hospital experience not translating? Thanks

Any people ops professionals who moved from the nonprofit space to tech or health tech? I’m really struggling to make a pivot and feeling defeated after seeing rejection after rejection after applying to 80+ positions 😔
