How easy is it to go from pharma to finance? I have 9 years experience in pharma but my role has evolved as technology/product manager and now going into consulting/client relationships within pharma but I’m strongly drawn to finance and do my own financial modelling and investing. Do I need an MBA? What jobs can I look to? I Looked at a few M&A roles at Big 4 consulting firms but didn’t feel I had the experience.

What are your firms’ meal expense limits? The ~$33-55 per diem at Accenture seem low. How does this allowance vary by firm tier? (Big 4 vs T2 vs MBB)

I worked at two Big 4 consulting firms. One Deloitte the other is one of the other 3. When I was at Deloitte, people always came off so bougie (whether an analyst or senior manager) and always mentioned Equinox, Pelotons, Soul Cycle etc at every chance. At my new firm there is none of that, people just say gym or run or cardio and that’s it.

I have accepted a job offer and expect to start in two weeks. The new role is lateral in title. I requested multiple times for higher title as the job posting open to both AD and D level, but the company refused to offer at D level. I accepted the job anyway for expanding responsibilities.
While I am waiting for my start day, another company reached out and offers me a D role for same responsibility.
