It is not too complicated, but not easy either.

A bit of both. Of the 4 answers, 2 will be good. You need to pick the most applicable of those 2 for the given request.

The exam is fairly expensive, so make sure you take practice exams before to gauge your level.

Depends on how you are at determining “The most correct” answer out of three potentially valid answers and one less good answer. I studied hard for six months and took a cohort training and still found it hard. But I also excelled at the exam. So the work you put in will show.

FYI the main content for the PMP is changing fairly dramatically with the PMBOK version 7. All new approach and associated books and materials.

Any tips for building a client base from scratch? I’m a 4th year associate at a firm of 12 attorneys. I practice in business, compliance, and real estate (primarily on partners’ files) and don’t litigate. Most of the partners’ clients are wealthy friends or friends of friends (not my circle). Associates are not referred business, even cold calls, and so far “networking” events like Chamber of Commerce luncheons have been a bust. I equate a book to autonomy and career choice and pressure is on.
