Can someone provide me some insights into the Senior Solutions Developers roles at Amazon AWS? What are expected TC range for remote positions with 10+ years of experience? What kind of questions should I expect during the first technical interview(90 minutes)? Specially for the coding part(20-30 mins) what level of LC questions do I need to prepare for? I already got some ideas about System Design and LP parts however there is not any info out there regarding the coding part for this position.

If you dedicate the time to prep it’s pretty manageable sprinkled with some luck
BCG1 has it right

McK: 7/10
BCG: 5/10
Bain: 6/10
Interviewed with all three, offers at all three
What was your prep process?
McK is super easy. They didn’t even ask me to do a case!
Then they rejected me.

It’s a joke that he didn’t even get interviewed

With 1 being a Deloitte experienced hire interview, and 10 being an MBB interview
It’s a 10/10 in difficulty
I'd say it's less about the difficulty of the interview and it's more on how consistent you perform under pressure. In a offline setting with some practice anyone should be able to solve any case. It's more difficult to do so with someone watching you do math and grading you. So if you stay calm during pressure settings they're not tough
So true!
My M interviews: 8.5/10
BCG: 6/10
BCG process was much nicer and people were kinder
I’d say McK and Bain are a 6 and BCG is an 8 as they like to make their cases purposefully tricky, whereas Bain and McK are straightforward but perhaps longer.

Biased, but I found the BCG hardest due to the fact you have to drive the case/interviewee led. I think an interviewer led style tends to take much of the complexity out
I thought my McK interview was very difficult, although my experience was a bit unique since I interviewed for an expert track role
I thought my McKinsey cases were a 7/10. There weren't many tricks. However, the PEI was more difficult than expected - they're looking for very targetted, concise, crisp delivery on those. Eventually was the main reason for not getting the offer.
BCG interview - 4/10 for one and 8/10 for the other. Healthcare case was really rough.

I think it depends - i would say either of the three can be hard in final round depends on the interviewers case but general format I think Bain and BCG are harder cause you have to drive it and push direction whereas Mcks focus is on structured responses and answer - but would say 7.5 for Mck and 8 for Bain and BCG but just depends on case itself
4/10
I find Amazon’s process the toughest. Making up stories on the fly et al, because the interviewers already know what they want to hear. Consulting firms are simpler, because you don’t need to prepare stories.
Very different.

8/10
I think it's more time consuming than hard. I am part of the expert track so maybe a tad different but I had to do 8 different rounds, one of which was a panel presentation where I created a presentation about a case I did at another firm. Not hard...but putting together the deck was definitely a full time weekend activity 🙃
It’s very learnable, if you prep for it - probably like a 6/10 (all in the delivery)
