12% Bonus

Two of my Managers got very nice raises, so there seems to be some measure of market catch up going on, however if you’re near the median of your band raises have always seemed thin.

PwC3, I’ve been assigned and had to assign an impact tier to my reports every year I’ve been with the Firm as directed by HC. This isn’t just verbal, but includes annual CRT trainings with slides that define 1-5 and how one qualifies for above average and the obligatory, “Make sure your staff know a 3 is still exceptional in a high performance environment like PwC!”

Has anyone wanted to voice out at their company, colleagues, or civ friends whining about covid how the remote work is hard. They work and live in their home and now they need a therapist. Has anyone compared how military do that non stop? Service members work and live at the same place. They can’t even grocery shop which was the highlight of most during Covid. Shouldn’t people show more appreciation for the military now that they have lived a small part of our lives?

Hi everyone! With an internal promotion to manager I am wondering if the salary raise is negotiable? I know a few managers on the team hired in at 110-120 thousand but have also heard I can expect a 5% raise or less moving up internally, which would put me around 25% below that. Hoping negotiation might be an option. Thanks for any insights!

I was promoted to manager in Jan but received an offer with a 35% salary increase and much cheaper health insurance outside the firm. I am 85% sure I’ll take the offer, but wanted to see if anyone could think of acting I may be missing out on by leaving? FYI my inflation increase was larger than my promotion increase and my student loan payments also were stopped since I’m no longer an SA. I think what is holding me back is my guilt for my immediate team but just want to check.
