How have unions helped teaching as a profession?

Why is there no trade unions for audit staff? Would be interested to see if there was one, what hours, pay and benefits could be negotiated. Just food for thought

I need some help. The distance learning model that has been implemented to my district has been intense by my district. I am part of the union and I was upset the superintendent was going to ask the principals for feedback on the model. I spoke up in my meeting and said that they should be heading directly from the teachers but they don’t know how. I suggested a survey which was approved but they don’t know how to make one. SMH 🤦‍♂️

When renewing non-union talent, do you typically include the actual talent in the notice? We have recently found out an instance where an agent isn’t passing funds on to his client and not alerting them of the renewals. Unfortunately I’m sure that’s not all that uncommon. What are the possible ways for me to work in the US again? I didnt win h1b and moved to Canada. My current firm isnt willing to move me back to the US. Now i am recruiting with few tech firms in the US which are willing to sponsor me a visa but wont detail out any specifics before i get a final offer.
