Soooo. I’ve had a recruiter tell me about 3 opportunities she thought I’d be good for and I expressed my interest in moving forward and learning more, etc.
Then, I don’t hear from her for over 2 weeks, and she tells me about the same 3 opportunities.....and I expressed my interest AGAIN. And now I haven’t heard from her for another week.
I don’t understand the process? Shouldn’t it be quicker. If she thinks I’m a good fit why hasn’t she set me up to talk to anyone yet?

Can anyone give me their honest opinion on working at Eli Lilly, the Indy site? I have a few coworkers that have worked there in the past but no one recently. I’m currently being recruited pretty seriously for a in-vivo technician position in the auto-immune team, but I already have a job lined up at Envigo as a small animal sx tech. Salaries would be comparable (Lilly would most likely be a little more with bonuses), but if the culture sucks, I’d hate to burn a bridge with Envigo.

Working at AmLaw 100 firm office in LCOL city. 1950 billable hour requirement. I make 60-70k less than peer offices within the firm. But I actually get more than enough work to fill my plate in a meaningful way (i.e., not just doc review and research). Am I shortchanging myself by living in the LOCL city? Or staying at this firm when I could do the same (or fewer) hours at a comparable firm? I don’t care about partnership.

I’ve been thinking about the prospect of switching industries - from creative agency to something else, ideally w/ better compensation but for some reason have felt stuck re: knowing my options & where my skills would translate. I know the typical account skillset should translate to many jobs out there and maybe the vastness is what’s making me freeze? Catholic school parent expect grade changes two days before grades close- student didn’t want assistance during the trimester and parents never reached out until now- how have you all seen that handled?
