Did an interview yesterday, as per my own judgment it was good & the interviewer asked me to prepare three references and said that I will be contacted by the HR team. Does this mean i got the job?

Hi everyone, I have a question. I am currently in the middle on of an interview process, where I am quite confident that I will get the job... but I want to work for another company that has contacted me 1 week ago to interview but hasn't scheduled the interview yet....

Meaning that their interview process is probably going to take longer... how should I reach out to the company and properly let them know my situation?

I've applied and networked for my dream job and didn't get an interview this time. Also dissatisfied with compensation and some of the responsibilities at my current job but have a lot of opportunity to learn. So the question is do I stay where I'm not thrilled to be now because it's good experience to set me up for the dream job next time there's an opening, or do I leave now to an option that's better pay and more interesting but farther off the path towards my long term goal?

For those of you that transitioned to industry /PE ops (as in my case), do you still see the same level of outreach from recruiters? I’ve seen a big drop in recruiter calls in the last 4 months or so.

Hi im looking to change paths and pursue IB, im working as a financial analyst at a big retail company right now and im working on acquiring my SIE. Just wondering if anyone has advice as to how to get IB firms to respond fo my applications and score more interviews. Or maybe even another path i could take like equity research and hopefully build experience to get into IB. I did not go to top school, i attended a state school and got a BA in Economics. Kind of a new distance runner here (completed my first half mara last month) and am usually run on treadmill for workouts during the week. I also wear an Apple Watch. Have noticed that my Apple Watch tends to say I’ve run a longer distance, at a faster speed, than treadmill. (It’s usually up to 0.5 miles off and 0.5mph off in speed). Anyone experience this?
