Does anybody have any advice when applying to postings with many applicants and getting noticed? The company I am interested in is Figma, and though I reached out to a few technical recruiters after applying through LinkedIn, I am wondering if there might be something more I could do that maybe I’m not thinking about. Also along those lines, if anybody here works for figma I would love the chance to connect

Hello all,
Hope you are doing well.
I have a condition and want to know your opinions. I have given a particular date 30th May of joining in offer letter Legato Health Technologies , but now they are saying that the joining will be delayed by a day Or two.
I am getting confused about this and also getting a little bit afraid as well as I have already says no to other offers and now this happens...
Request you all to please help me on this.
Thanking you all in advance.

I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

@K1 It's like folks here don't realize the water in their home toilet comes from the same place as the water they use in their Nespresso.
Thank your lucky stars they didn’t. The water they use to make coffee and tea is the same “potable” water they run in the toilets. Stick to bottled water and canned drinks mon frer.
Airline coffee is awful
I get what you're saying. But Coca Cola has crazy standards for the water restaurants must use with their soda. Also, the coffee tastes terrible and you'd think a Starbucks exec would nix that.
Always see this "fact" and find it silly. Drink the coffee you won't die. What you're saying is that they use faucet water for their which is served boiling hot. Oh the horror. Smh, what's in the air on an airplane is much nastier than anything in the coffee pot
Sometimes when it's extremely cold they simply can't use it; especially true on regional jets.
PwC1 - I keep hearing this but can't believe that Starbucks would allow their brand to be associated with that... 🤷🏼♀️
@EY1, I don’t think Starbucks has any say in the matter. The partnership with Delta (which I assume is what you are referring to) only means the airline is serving their brand of coffee as opposed to Nescafé or green mountain etc..but I don’t see how Starbucks would be able to tell the airlines what kind of water to use to brew the coffee in flight. Most people don’t even realize what kind of water is used to brew their coffee in the air, it just “magically” appears.
*for their coffee
And pot is legal now too...
Potable water or not... I needed the caffeine. 🤷🏼♀️
