I don’t think you should be selective if you’re trying to get out of pharma, no offense.

Isn’t everything worth transitioning from pharma?

If you’re asking yourself that question I honestly think you shouldn’t. No sarcasm. Consumer and pharma are two different games, that ask two different strengths so it’s not about worth but what do you like doing at your job day to day and what you want out of your career. Contrary to snarky answers theres no real right answer.

Thanks for your thought. I just need to go back because consumer is where I started, so the core of the q was really about how Barbarian is.

I work at an agency rn (no pharma exp at all) & I’m also curious what Barbarian’s like

The former CEO of Barbarian Group wrote a book on the agency. Doesn't seem to be a powerhouse, but maybe you can make cool stuff. I would take the opportunity.

Do you think it’s better to go to immediately go a firm that’s beyond your skillset or work your way up to that firm? For example, going to a T2 firm as an experienced hire having never done consulting without or starting at a smaller consulting firm and then going to T2/MBB?

I am completing Noogler period this month. I joined in January with 3-4 years of experience and Google offered me L3 Level and despite having other offers in hand, Google didn’t negotiate. And since Google was my dream company, I joined Google thinking I’ll ask for promotion in one year and do the hardwork. Till now I wasn’t having any problem. But now it starts mentally for me. So, I referred one of my friend from my same batch of college and previous organisation. contd. in comments!

Feeling horrible! I messed up one of the case interviews and silly math! This was the second round/interview; the first round/interview was terrific and math to the point. Pretty sure they won't call me for the final round of interviews now.
