It’s probably the same as you guys, happens quite a bit but you typically have to be good/better than average.

Historically generally very easy for us. Not quite the same right now with covid. I’ve seen people come from MB as it’s been easier to move geo with Bain

Perhaps you’re right on the skewed sample. But on the structural differences I have still heard it is the easiest despite the more local model. Very easy to do up to 1 year experience transfers (although not during covid), and there isn’t the same level of competition between offices within the firm that stops people moving permanently. Makes sense given the bigger emphasis on everyone being a ‘Bainie’ (regardless of office)
