Hey! I’m new here and would like some input. I’ve been working in a new position for almost 5 months. In that time I’ve witnessed some unethical and lots of unprofessional behavior. I’ve been yelled at and berated by my coworker 3 separate times because of minor errors. I’m ready to quit. There are so many major issues in this company that I don’t know if I want to subject my mental health to this degree of toxicity. I just don’t know how to move forward from here.

I used to have depression, but I’m getting much better after a lot of therapy work. 2 of my friends also have depression, have literally saved my life in the past, but are now pressing toxic behaviors on me (eg, trying to drag me down or manipulate me) as I become more mentally healthy. I am sad they aren’t doing well to improve their mental health, and it’s now taking a toll on me. What does one do in this situation? I feel I owe them for them having helped me, but I’m scared to relapse.

Partner I met with was rushed from the start like he had already made up his mind.
