Recently, i was "promoted" or, I should say, my title was changed to the next ring up the ladder. As a part of this, I went from reporting to Senior Management, to Junior Management. The Jr. Manager has good intentions, but, is not helpful. I've worked at the company longer, have accomplished more across multiple lines of business and have a much stronger internal network. Am I overreacting thinking this is a major slight that will ultimately slow down my growth within the company?

1) Principal bizops engineer (level 5) in MasterCard Pune with 43 fixed+20% variable
2) Senior Manager - QA DevOps (band 50) in Yodlee Bangalore with 47.27 fixed + 10% variable + 3 lakhs joining bonus + relocation assistance on actuals

Any good short courses to learn SQL/Tableau? If there are better languages or systems to learn please feel free to suggest them.

When do I begin adjusting? It’s been 4 months. I joined as an associate and I feel like sometimes my work is sloppy or I’m overwhelmed. I am an Indian citizen, but I work in Europe. I have an offer with the US counterpart of my firm. Given the current travel ban from Europe and additional NIE requirements from Europe, it doesn't seem advisable to apply for a L1A from Europe.
