Any of you manage WFH / telecommute more than 50% of the time? When I was an associate, you hardly saw the principal/owner. Now that I’m 7 months into partnership, I just started a set up for WFH myself. It’s basic right now, but once fully set up, I don’t see a need to go to the office other than client meetings. But in this area of law, even in a pandemic, people love to just stop by. So that’s one of my concerns if I transition to WFH.

I’ve significantly changed my diet the past 2 weeks. The amount of food I need to consume to hit the calorie intake is mind blowing. I’m doing intermittent fasting too. I feel very full trying to hit 1600 calories in 8 hours. It’s even more when working out according to the app. What do you recommend? Eat less?

I am an IT manager at a small manufacturing company that is in the commercial aerospace and DOD manufacturing space. I manage everything IT and have one other person and an intern currently for around 250 employees. I have been there for just 15 years and it’s stressful. I don’t feel like I am paid enough as now I have NIST 800-171 and CMMC to deal with as well. I am paid with bonus at $120k a year. I have started looking elsewhere because I am just not happy anymore and underpaid for what I do.

Hi Guys, how much salary should be expected for SDM L6 role in Toronto?

As I'm moving to a new role in a small company, I have a doubt about my salary structure like the Basic salary part is only 20,000 while my take home is 62k after all deductions.

I'm concerned because the leave encashment & other things totally depends on the basic salary.

Are there not any rules for the Basic salary to be at a certain % of CTC or it depends totally on the company?

Also PF deductions they are offering only 1800 p.m but considering 20000 basic it should be 12% of 20000 right?

Wonder what I should counter. I have five direct YOE and two indirect.
