Does anyone know if the same 401k rules apply at EY as Accenture so they will cap the contributions coming for your check say if you hit the yearly limits in August? So if you hit the 22,500 in 23 there is no way to go over for tax issues. Thinking to frontload next year contributions if market is down. EY

Best city in the wide wide world!!! All the good New York without you know being all New Yorky.
^ except world class theatre, awesome museums and museum events, social and political events, and a plethora of championship sport teams
Great in the summer. Good rest of year. Depends on what you like to do. Not much outside of drinking in the colder months
Cost of living doesn't hold a candle to new york
Cost of living is dirt cheap compared to SF, NYC, D.C....best city in the world for 3 months a year.
As a New Yorker tho gotta say I'm team deep dish
^ For S1
Chicago is great while you're young - bars, music, sports, always some festival, etc. But as soon as you have kids it's time to get out of the city. Cost of living is redic but again, worth it while you're young
I'd also say Chicago neighborhoods are fairly race specific - Hispanics, whites, blacks, etc. All have their neighborhoods (which is unfortunate)
A2 and S1 beat me to it lol what high cost? I lived in Houston, Phoenix, Dallas, DC, NY, and Chicago. Chicago is cheaper than DC and NY and at the same level as Houston and Dallas and Phoenix but I'd take Chi over any of them any day
You guys forget about the cost of living in Boston..
I mean it's still cheaper than NYC ....
Y'all are awesome. Hows the train in Chicago -- Better to have a car or doable without on?
Boston? SofaJoe-- ive heard mixed things about it. Mainly ab neighborhoods being pretty race specific, which I think is super outdated by now
No car, no problem. Just live on a train line and you're all set!
Race specific neighborhoods? I wouldn't say that at all!
Oh my bad, I was discussing Boston.
