SF to Boston. It hurt on so many levels. Sleep. Diet. Exercise. Mental health.
Only saving grace was flex travel. $900 can pretty much take you anywhere from Boston so I spent one weekend a month in a different city from Miami to Quebec City

Try to choose a good/spacious airline that’s not too full most days. JetBlue for me was a blessing even though I was United 1K the route was so busy I couldn’t get upgraded at all - stopped flying them

Which direction? If E-W, then aim for an early afternoon return flight on Thur. If W-E, try to avoid Sunday travel! Also check your firm's travel policy for booking business class (or a Y-up fare class that allows for instant upgrade).
I did Chicago to Phoenix and then down to Tucson weekly for a while. It was pretty draining, but nice in the winter
