A report opened to me that they are having money problems and wants a raise. We are remote and they moved to a high CoL city. We gave an increase to help with retention 6mths ago. In my response, I helped mentor with best practices on how to ask for a raise professionally since I need to make a case to my Head on finances. But their performance has been avg and not seemingly worthy of another large raise within a short period of time. But how do I respond when they talk about personal finances?

Hi folks, do we not get experience/relieving letter in Mastercard India?
I've been trying to reach People Services via email and my LWD was about >35 days back, still they haven't sent the FnF statement or experience letter. The FnF amount was credited in Apr, but no actual pdfs received yet.

Can someone tell who I can escalate it to? Would involving my (ex-) manager help?

Saw the Americans doing this and I’m curious! Comment below: your age, where you live, and how much you pay for rent (or mortgage).

I’ve been contacted by recruiters from a major consulting firm multiple times. Each time they set up an initial call which seems to go well, ask me for my resume, and then ghost me. The first time they set up a second call for a more detailed discussion before radio silence. Should I assume my resume is problematic? My expected salary is too high? (I typically add 20-25% to my current base) That I’m not as smooth as I think I am on the phone? I’m just worried why this keeps happening.

Got a verbal offer for a sr consultant role at an FSI for 80K base, 8% bonus. Today, I see a job posting for the same job and company and the range is 68K-111K. The hiring manager in the interviews stated the range was 65-78K. HR just called and told me I have one day to decide. I haven't received the email/paper offer yet. This is leading me to feel off about this situation. What should I do? Its still a 15K pay bump for me.

Here's why more waves are coming, and un-avoidable. On an average, during 2007-08 recession, consulting companies had to let go 10-25% of their staff. look at the curve, it could be easily 15-40%
