I sold an idea for TV, but I don’t have a clue how to approach production. Any/all tips would be so appreciated! Tbh pretty nervous.

Say you apply to an internal role (and your manager knows about it), but you don’t get the job. Do you just let your manager know about it casually, and reiterate your interest in and commitment to the current team? Wouldn’t your manager be a bit wary of your renewed interest in the team now that your internal job application fell through ?

Are digital producers actually project managers? I get every job is a bit of project management but could you go from producer to project manager at a non-creative agency? Just curious.

Anyone ever get turned down from a project for “lack of experience" in a particular role (which you had but maybe didn’t communicate it correctly)?

I am a full stack senior software engineer and have been coding for almost 9 years only to realize that i hate coding nowadays because I am not being able to manage it(there is a difference between not liking and hating. In my case it is the latter). What are the alternate career options in this field. Every morning I wake up waiting for the day to get over. This impacts my daily life with family and mental health. Any advise on how to tackle Reg?

GF is looking for any advice on coding bootcamps. She wants to get into tech & has been self learning/built a modest portfolio over the last year. She’s an optometry tech & when we move to NYC, her company has offered her the same job. Pay is ok but the odd schedule makes it hard to find time for her projects.

She might not benefit as much vs someone brand new to coding but is a coding bootcamp good for networking? We can get by with loss of income for a bit but it’s def not long term in NY.

My aunt passed away today from covid-19. She was in NY and I live out of state so can't pay last respects. I don't know how I feel.
