I lateralled into biglaw from a compliance job a couple of months ago because I was given a "too good to be true" opportunity (2 years out of law school), and I have regretted it ever since. I have a very dear friend who can’t seem to keep a relationship to save their lives. It’s a 1-2 year cycle (max 3), and the reasons to call it off are everything from boredom, to we don’t like to do the same things, to you name it.
