Went Maldives, Greece, Hawaii and Egypt last year. Here are plans for this year: Jordan in spring, Tahiti summer, Italy fall and Seychelles in winter.

Headed to San Diego in April for our anniversary and we’re very excited about it 😎

Ooo awesome! Where are you staying? Hotel or Vrbo?

I've already been on several trips since mid 2021. Precautions are taken (to a much higher degree than here in the US) but it didn't detract from the trip.

For reference, I've been to Prague, Vienna, Bologna, Venice, Bratislava, and Mexico (non resort)

Go for it as long as you are vaccinated. Took my family to Aruba last February.

Portugal heading northeast thru Europe to a cruise including St. Petersburg, Russia…think we’ll have an itinerary change?

I’ve traveled a decent amount and haven’t gotten COVID. Mainly been to tropical counties where I’m outside all the time! You should go :)

I’m not looking forward to crowds again. I’ve been traveling regardless of the pandemic and I love how there aren’t crowds and lines. Airports have been a breeze and customs lol

Traveling to Greece this spring. I haven’t traveled internationally since the pandemic started but I am looking forward to it!

I’ve been back to pre-pandemic business travel since being fully vaxxed in April 2021 with no problems. If you’re vaxxed and now boosted get out and live your life. Statistically you are very unlikely to have any significant symptoms if you catch COVID. If you lived a normal life before the pandemic you almost certainly engaged in much riskier behavior than traveling while fully vaxxed and boosted. If you’re not vaxxed and boosted or are immunocompromised ignore my post.

I have an offer and want to negotiate

1. London base salary but I have to absorb all the expenses (train + stay)
I am thinking to negotiate to

2. home base salary and have my expenses paid for

I know that's depends on the amount I have to travel (and potentially stay) but at the moment this is unknown. Past 8 months was just twice a month + 2 nights stay.

The only thing I know is it won't be every week, the return trian ticket is about £80-100, depends I could plan ahead.

Have had the amex delta reserve 11 mos and will have to pay the annual fee next month. Want to cancel it to get amex platinum. Any risk in cancelling within a year? Will i still get the sign up bonus?

I was working at a Hotel one night & I saw a man appearing on two different floors, then in the stairwell. The man was in his 70’s or 80’s. He was wearing nothing but tidy whiteys. When he got to the front desk I asked “is everything alright? Are you okay?” (Assuming he may be senile),He wasn’t senile, he went swimming & wanted to make me uncomfortable and started to flirt while in his sopping wet see through tidy whiteys- and of course I had to clean up the water he tracked through the lobby.
