Today I woke up and thought it was only Wednesday. When I realized it was Friday, I was ecstatic. The week flew by!!
13 school days left... we have a test, project, and finals. I think it's going to go by super quick. Can't wait!
I don't envy high school teachers trying to get through finals right now. And I spent all week thinking Thanksgiving was like weeks ago and then I remember, no, it was just last week lol
So many holiday activities planned and so much assessing for report cards at the same time! Don’t know how I’m gonna get it all done…but I will!
It is the most busy/difficult time of the year! lol
Every child lost their mind this week. I’m dreading the next couple before the break. It’s always this way.
Right!?! It is like, chill out kids, you had a five-day weekend and you only have two and half weeks of school to get through, let's just hang in there a little bit longer!
It's definitely a challenge, but I'm plugging along. Every week gets tougher and tougher until we finally (FINALLY!) reach the finish line and have that glorious week+ off. Hang in there, everyone!

I am hanging in there. I don't know about anyone else but I am counting down until Christmas break. I am so excited for some time off of work. This year has been especially rough.
1 day at a time, no stress, just focus on getting to the last week before our well deserved Christmas break!!

Everyday is a challenge especially when students come to school and don’t want to complete any work this year has been really hard but we can and will push through
I think that we, as middle school teachers are really starting to see the effects of many students missing a year or so of prime reading instruction and practice. I think this is going to get worse for a year or two, and then hopefully improve as we get past the hump of students missing those 2nd/3rd/4th grade chunks.
I've been holding on as best as I can. So much going on, but the thought of Christmas break is keeping me going.
The one thing is that students are being extra well behaved since Christmas is coming up. I'm going to enjoy this behavior for as long as possible.
This week was a challenging one. I’ve been doing this for 5 years and this was the first week I’ve almost had a fight break out in my classroom.
Really? Weird, not sure what is going on this year but this seems more challenging then it usually is.

Barely! Everything seems rushed, everyone is extra mean, everything stresses me out. I just want to fast forward to Christmas break already. I just want to have a normal day without having to stress about work. I'm hoping for a better year.
You can say that again! My thoughts are all over the place in the period between Thanksgiving and Christmas, and this year is certainly no exception. I'm so ready to be exclusively in holiday mode. Hang in there, OP!

I no longer have the urge for work since Thanksgiving. My mind is already on vacation mode. HELP! haha on a serious note though I only need to recharge during these holidays and I'll be right on track again

My classes have actually been somewhat chill so far (knock on wood), but a good bit of that is a lot of student absences. However, there are a lot of teacher absences as well, which means I keep getting called to sub on my prep period, which is rough for a bunch of reasons.
I wish certain students missed a few days along the way...will get more accomplished when I'm not playing the behavior games.
