My husband has 12 weeks and I had 22. He took 5 weeks off up front with me, and then he’s going to take the remainder when I’m done so we can extend our date for childcare needs!
My husband is using 2 weeks of PTO right now. Once my maternity leave is up, he’ll use his paternity leave. That will get us pretty close to a year old.
My husband doesn't get anything 🥲. So likely 2 weeks PTO and keep the third week for one-off needs
My husband took two weeks up front. He was also working from home which helped a lot. He is taking the remainder at a later point.
My husband took the first 8 weeks of the 12 he has upfront and is saving the last 4 to run concurrently with my last month so we can travel as a family. He could have gone back at 6 weeks as we were getting the hang of it but we really got to enjoy those weeks in retrospect.
