Glad you are feeling better and hope that continues!!
Those of you with Covid, first, I hope you all have a speedy recovery. Second, was chest tightness one of your symptoms? I've had this tightness in the center of my chest since Sunday. It's off and on throughout the day. No cough, no fever associated with this. I'm contemplating going to urgent care but not really sure what they'd be able to for me.
Thanks Accenture 2! I really appreciate all the information. I actually got an oximeter this morning at target. They miraculously had it back in stock yesterday not too far from me. Pulse Ox is pretty steady around 98 +/-1.
I actually do have an underlying condition which makes me even more nervous. If all the digestive issues were a symptom, this should be getting better and not worse as I'm on day 13. Today was the first day I left the house in 17 days so I couldn't have picked anything up recently. The only reason I would consider going to a clinic would be to possibly get an xray of my chest to make sure my lungs look ok.
I've been taking emergen-c daily plus vitamin d and an elderberry/zinc lozenge. I thankfully managed to have all this on hand before things went nuts.

Day 15 still running a very mild fever. Sleeping like crazy (15 hours???) but chest is much less heavy. Anyone else?
Rising Star
Yes sleeping like crazy! Still tired after 10 hours. Still coughing but no more fever
I’m on week 3. Started with a headache in the office that lasted a week or so, then a mild fever that broke after a few days. After the fever broke, I had chest tightness and breathing issues, and the ER docs were able to see pneumonia in both lungs, but not bad enough to be hospitalized. I was given an inhaler and a Z pack, and told only to come back if I couldn’t breath. I was only able to sleep sitting upright in a chair for the next several nights, but can now sleep on a harder surface, like the couch. Symptoms mostly went away over the weekend, came back Sunday night in force, and have mostly disappeared by today.

Sounds like an ordeal D2, glad you are better now! My symptoms tend to get worse at night as well.
Wishing you a speedy recovery!
I am in week 1 with fever and body aches. Could not get myself tested as I am not eligible. I am not sure if it’s just high fever or Covid.
In the same boat. Day 2 of fever and body ache. Went out for groceries. I live alone. Any tips on how to navigate the next few days/weeks?
I’m on week 2 and feeling so much better. Smell or taste hasn’t come back unfortunately. Glad you’re slowly getting better OP!
Same boat. Entering week three and honestly woke up on Tuesday and felt like a brand new person. Turned a corner, but no taste and smell still lingers.
It’s been weird, I can’t smell a thing, but I can smell sickness. Did anyone else get that?
I'm on week 3, smell is back & feeling much better. Slight cough & sinus type symptoms but overall significantly better than the first 2 weeks

I’m three weeks in/out as well! Slight cough, taste and smell almost completely back as well, some things still taste weird. Feels good to be on the other side!
@D8 calm down, Director 1 has a point and no one seems to have much certainty so it’s better to continue to be cautious.

Does that mean you can taste again? Congrats and happy to hear you are on the mend!
Rising Star
Yes! Couldn’t taste for a week, just got taste back 3 days ago :)
Feeling ok. Actually think I feel a little better than yesterday. Glad to hear you have your sense of smell back! I have not encountered that symptom personally, but have heard quite a few people say they have experienced it.

Hope you and your wife feel better soon.

How long was your productivity (personal routines and output, and work) hampered OP? And what’s your age range?
Rising Star
Am 27, had to take off work completely for 3 days, and spent 3-4 other workdays being only half productive. I’m almost back to normal but just super tired 😴
I wasn’t tested but I think I had it... it all started with a mild fever, extremely tired, couldn’t get out of bed for 3 days, had no apetite, no taste either. After day 7 I started to feel less tired, but still feverish and coughing. It lasted 2 weeks. Now I’m good, taste is also back :)
Smell and taste came back after 8-9 days for me. Had minor cold too but no other symptoms. I made sure to have hot water, ginger and honey, salt water gargling and hot green tea. I’m glad to be on other side now. Hope you feel better soon OP!
Friend tested positive with only a cough and chest tightness, scary to think there could be plenty of others with barely any symptoms!
This thread is a great example (albeit anecdotal) of why a lot of the modeling is overestimating things. There are undoubtedly LOTS of COVID cases that are not definitively diagnosed because they’re so mild, and thus generate a lasting antibody response in the patient that will tamper future outbreaks (and make this one pass more quickly than most expect).
@D8 you would do yourself a favor if you stopped attacking people who have different views and stopped pointing out autocorrect errors.
What.over the counter medicine did you take for recovery.. I think I'm on day 5 sore throat and cough..no fever.. had heaviness in my chest but not anymore.. had Tylenol and some cough drops but wondering if I should be taking any other meds
