I hope you’re kidding when you say you want to punch a dog in the face. Not great humor and not sure you should’ve gotten a dog to start with.

D2- hahaha I had a lab mix growing up, they really are puppies forever! I think the cats might be excited for their owners to go back by this point 🤣 Maybe we should all start new dog walking/ pet sitting businesses once everyone starts going back to the office and traveling 😆

Most days I want to punch my puppy in the face😅... I honestly cannot wait for her to be a dog and not a puppy. But on an actual note...Might be returning to site soon though, still not traveling, but actually leaving the house. So I’ve started working on separation anxiety training, and honestly might have to start looking into dog day care because there’s no way she’d make it 8 hours a day by herself.

Whatever you do, stay away from Wag which is similar to Rover

We adopted a one-year-old German shepherd, so skipped the puppy phase and just focused on training during covid. It’s been wonderful and he’s ready to be left alone at the house if we were to start going back to the office.

Puppy was the best decision my fiancée and I have ever made. That dog has given us something we otherwise wouldn’t have during such a depressing time. It also has helped my health as I’m out walking way more than I was prior to getting her. Honestly life changing, she’s also a gentle beauty so got very lucky.

Both my fiancée and I are WFH so she’s had 5 months of constant attention. Going to start training soon

We got a puppy. Love that we can put in the right time to train her during WFH.

I am so grateful to have a job right now but I am really struggling. I’ve been at D for a little under a year and have been really unhappy with my experience. In particular, my current project and my direct supervisor make me feel unbelievably incompetent and under appreciated. Given COVID, there is little flexibility to roll off. I’ve tried to stick it through but I’m at a breaking point. Any suggestions on how to make the best of it? Or next steps?

Since the start of the pandemic, I have been fairly safe and really haven’t gone anywhere (I think I went to TJ Maxx once in a moment of weakness lol). My family on the other hand hasn’t taken any precautions and actually did contract COVID. They keep telling me I’m paranoid and need to start going out but with COVID being worse now than it was back in March, I rather just not. I just want them off my back and wish they would respect my decision to not expose myself like I respected them.

I was hoping the vaccine would help us get back to more normal, open, and less restricted activities. In some ways it has but since there are so many unvaccinated, is there any other way we’ll be able to move forward from this pandemic? P.S. I’m not trying to start a big argument, I’m genuinely just looking for the light at the end of this tunnel.

Moms, I have a 2 year old and a 3 month old. Everyone on my family is vaccinated. What are safe activities to do with these kiddos in the midst of all this covid variant environment. I thought about the pumpkin patch, hiking, the park, and walks as long as we distance from others. I just get nervous about catching colds or a breakthrough covid infection. I’m not paranoid, just risk averse. The whole family got the TSV bug a month ago, and it was miserable. Just trying to be practical, but not a

What practice areas (if any) would be a natural move for a mid-level commercial real estate/finance associate? I started trying to leave my firm in February and, at the time, was super in-demand. Now, with Covid, commercial real estate is slow & I think I'll be stuck where I am for at least another year if I don't make a practice area shift. Are there any other practice areas where my experience would be valuable?
