Any insight on going from Big 4 audit (S1) to boutique PE firm in an analyst role? The role supports operations of the portfolio companies (i.e. system implementations, accounting set up, etc.). Sounds like interesting work but the exit opportunities are a little unclear and not sure if it would be detrimental to veer away from an accounting-specific role.

I am eager to work out of Europe for a few years. Is there anyone who has done this move recently and has managed to get a job searching from India? How was the interview experience? Where did you find the vacancies?

Waiting for the recession is like an endless ascending roller coaster. Have we ever had a recession so telegraphed for months before? The drop might not even be that bad compared to all the anticipation.

Would be great to just get it over with already so that companies can go back to hiring again, instead of all this ramping down to “get ready.”
