I want to join Oracle for its brand, but Amadeus on the whole provides better benefits than Oracle like transportation, food facilities and better hikes. Is it true hikes in Oracle are terrible?

And how is the job security in Amadeus?

My least favorite part about this job is how so much of it is pestering people and then getting scolded because I didn’t follow up with a specialist a 4th and 5th time while we’re still waiting for comments. I’m generally fine with the project management aspect of deal work, but I don’t know how to make a senior counsel or partner actually do their job or respond to me. Also, since I know this response is coming: I call too.

Received an offer from Deloitte as a consultant at $115k, $10k sign on bonus, 12% annual bonus. About 6.5 yrs out of college working full time as a consultant since. This is at best a flat move both in role and comp. recruiter said that pay, sign on, and target bonus are max and there is no room to negotiate up…Essentially take it or leave it. Does that sound accurate? Should I ask to come in at senior consultant?

Anyone here familiar with the hiring process of KPMG consulting in Van? Had a partner interview on Nov 21, thought the feedback was positive but haven't heard back yet (no rejection/offer). Is it something normal or the interview just didn't go as well as I thought?

It's an experienced hire for an SC role. I saw the posting is still open atm, and my guess is that the recruiting team is comparing candidates since competition is higher due to recent layoffs.

I'm considering switching from a low-touch, high-volume portfolio of brands to a very engaged role with a small amount of brands at my agency. I love the freedom of my current role (very few number of calls with individual brands, but hundreds of initial touch point calls), but the standard role in my industry (affiliate marketing) involves ongoing calls with a small group of brands.

What do you talk about with clients who you have to speak with weekly? How do you come up with new rev opps?

Is it common to not have a process workflow for services your agency sells? For example, we’ve sold geofencing, strategy, and website build services without any documentation on how they should be executed so I had to start from scratch and figure out what happens, who is involved, when, and estimate how long it will take. I like project mgmt but I’m getting burned out from having to determine processes and feel like we should have something in place before we sell it. Is this common?
