How is Minneapolis as a city? Also, how big is the Deloitte office and client base there compared to other firms? Considering a move there or Columbus.

Used to live there when I worked for Accenture. The firms that hire consultants do long, transformational projects. I was the only guy in my practice that traveled. As for MSP living, it’s seriously so good. Cost of a great life in MSP + whatever number of vacations you need to escape the cold is still less than California or New York. I never felt like I didn’t have enough money (New York) or time to do something (California). A champagne bar will open and you can just go on opening night. Concerts don’t sell out day-of. Somali and Hmong immigrant populations bring more culture than you see at first. Friends bought a 3BR house w/ yard in city limits for $350k Only concern is exit ops. 3M is paying top dollar to help with its aging workforce, but career progress will be slower than other “affordable” cities like ATL or CHI

Huge concentration of F500 companies in the city so exit ops from consulting are great. D office is big but a close community. Lots of healthcare partners. Echo all of @Google 1 comments

Great city, even better office. Awesome non - douchey culture.

Great city. Just visited first time for work. Everything connected just make sure you are used to the cold 😃

You had me at non douche culture. From what I’ve heard there is a serious problem in that city from another firm.

Yeah, it really is a fun community! Very different from a lot of the offices I’ve visited.

I’ve traveled there a few times for a recent project and really enjoyed it, aside from snow in April (and supposedly most of the year)

Snow in APRIL? Seriously???

@OP: 14” a few weeks ago

Snow in April isn’t a usual. It seems like every 5 years or so there is a late start to spring. We have also had a lot of winters with hardly any snow on the ground.

Love it!

Got asked today best way to gather our own (agency's) 1st party data. My first thought is develop our own pixel to capture user data (ip, email, device ID) and store that in a database, then use it later for targeting through a LiveRamp or similar. No idea if this is right or there's a better way or where I'd start my research. Anyone want to point me in some sort of direction?

I have a job, and I’m grateful that I do! But it makes me extremely unhappy. I’m talked down to constantly, our client treats us like we’re dumb and they have no trust for the creative team, and I’m constantly anxious. How do I find a new gig during these (forgive me for saying this) unprecedented times? Or what do I do/say if I want to switch accounts within my agency? I need some advice from other women who’ve been through this and succeeded at finding something that makes them happier.
