I am working towards a promotion within my same team in the near future but an Account Manager position has opened up now in the construction space within our office. Should I voice my interest in the construction AM role even though I have a limited amount of construction experience or wait the six months for the AM position on my current team?

Employee stock purchase plans. My employer has an ESPP that allows me to buy stock at 5% discount on the last day of each month. There are no fees for purchasing the stock or reinvesting dividends. There is a $15-30 fee to sell depending on the type of sales order. Is it worth it to contribute and sell once or twice a year to take advantage of the 5% “free money” while also avoiding the risk of putting too much money in my employer? It’s a pretty stable utility if that matters.
