It is less expensive for a reason. People who live in the city won't come visit

It’s decent, I’d look more in the Gwinnett area if I were you (Lawrenceville, Grayson, some parts of Snellville). Better schools if that matters to you

If you’re going to be that far away from the city, I would take the advice above

Depends on your lifestyle. If you like city life no. More convenient up and coming places to reside. Also depends if you have kids. If you’re not tied to east side check out mableton same distance from the city. Lots of new developments if you want to build from scratch.

Hi everyone, I’m an architectural designer (from Europe) with 1.5 yrs experience. I’m working for a practice in San Francisco, full-time from the office, getting 25 an hour. It is so expensive to live here, I am struggling to make things work. Is this a normal salary for someone of my experience or should I ask for a raise? I don’t want to be greedy but it’s so expensive out here… Thank you 🌈

Hi tax 🐠,

I have a question for those who prep individual tax returns. My parents claim my grandfather as a dependent on their tax return and due to their low income, receive PTC for the premiums they pay on his insurance (not eligible for medicare). However, would it be advantageous to have him file for his own tax return (he stays with my parents and doesn't have his own proof of residency via bills). If so, can he get PTC if his income is 0?

I work for a fairly small company. We have had a lot of growth recently. I made a comment that I was not happy with the company culture. The CEO wants to meet. We have a good relationship. My question is…should I send a email with specific examples ahead of time or just keep it as an “on the fly” convo?

What's a rule you are expected to enforce that you strongly disagree with or are indifferent to. Do you enforce it or take the risk? I move around as a tutor and am currently working with a school that has a ridiculously strict formal address policy. One of my second graders refers to me as "Miss Tutoring (my first name)" - it's about the cutest thing ever and doesn't bother me one bit. We are moderated sometimes and I'm more worried about her getting in trouble than me for not abiding.
