How is tech consulting in big 4 different from other consulting firms like ibm, capgemini etc?

Thinking about leaving Big 4 and going into internal audit (currently about to be a Senior in Assurance).

I like working on controls/SOX much more than substantive. I thought about switching internally to advisory and doing internal audit but not sure what the best move is.

I don’t see myself ever doing a technical accounting role or any financial accounting roles. Ideally I would like to transition to more business operations type of roles throughout my career. Any advice is appreciated!

Does anyone have experience switching to another big 4 as a tax manager? Did your old firm terminate your employment immediately? If yes, did you still get paid for your notice period? Was planning to give 2 weeks notice, but if there’s a chance they terminate me immediately I’ll only give one week.
