Cognizant isn't a consulting firm. It's a outsourcing company that heavily relies on body shopping to make money! Stay out.

that's fair. But 99% of the company is dependent on outsourcing / body shopping, so this consulting arm is very minuscule. Culture might be great, but then it is a small world. Post exit ops will be even bleaker! unless you want to be join other ones. TCS, blah

Depends highly on what level and which practice you are joining. Lots of ex-B4 around certain practices. Don't expect anything more than SI and PM type work. There are a lot of 40 hr/week people hanging around though.

Is anyone else feeling very uneasy about this rise in cancel culture? I think it’s a byproduct of my anxiety because I don’t have really controversial opinions or post polarizing things, but I lay awake at night wondering if someone will stumble upon a photo of my Halloween costume from middle school that was incidentally culturally appropriative and I’ll get fired. Seems like there are no second chances these days if someone feels offended.

Moved from US to Canada recently. Finding work culture in Can way different. Giving direct and straight feedback is almost a sin. I feel the real and rigor to walk an extra mile for the client is almost missing. Not sure if it's just time or if this is Canada way. Any quick tips?
