Today I left my high paying sales job because of an extremely toxic company culture and boss. I was only 6 months into the job, but it was clear that it was doing more harm than good. I decided to leave without another job lined up to reevaluate my interests and make sure I wasn’t rushing into another job. Was that a crazy decision or am I doing the right thing taking time to figure out my next move?

Was laid off at Deloitte Digital and looking to take this opportunity to transition into a strat/product role. I have 2 YOE and did a lot of work with Salesforce strategy / implementation.

Are any companies hiring associate-level positions? Would love to network and have a coffee chat!

Does anyone take day dates with their spouse/partner? By the time I get to bed, even on the weekends, I’m spent. I wonder if it would be more enjoyable to spend that time together during the day. We both work incredibly hard and are successful, but honestly I’m more the YOLO type and he probably would find it ridiculous to take this time off work. Does having a PMP certification hold any water in digital media? Do folks care? I’ve been using PMI resources to help solve problems / improve stuff at my org, and I’m tempted to get the full cert but I’m not sure if it’d actually mean anything / have a meaningful impact on my career or pay.

From interview perspective, I enjoyed lucidworks interview as the interviews taken by quality people compared to other two companies. But it is a startup.

Btw, I have been interviewed for 6 rounds in Citrix and waiting to hear from them.
