I tired to switch the company for Growth & Learning, Got 60k + WFH offer. My current company matched the offer (60k + WFH). The company helped me a lot in my bad times (Covid, Mom's illness, my operation etc).

I had my Assessor interview this past week and received a pre-screening questionnaire that asked about dual citizenship status. Because I don't even have a passport for the country I am a dual citizen for, I didn't even think about the possibile complications this could lead to with my application. I applied through a career fair at school and didn't see the citizenship requirements, so I guess that's on me.

My wife often calls me by 5:45/6 to ask where I am if I’m not headed home yet. Sometimes she’s stressed with kids/dogs/dinner and really wants me home. How do you all *actually* set boundaries at work, especially during busy season? There’s a lot of advice out there about making appointments for any personal plans (workouts, dinner, etc.) and treating them as you would work appointments, but then you get the pings “hey we just got comments from the partner on XYZ, can you address them asap?” And pushing back on that for other stuff that’s not an emergency would get frowned upon. I feel like I’m running myself ragged - senior if that’s helpful
