Looking for advice/perspective. currently a senior 1 (ignore my title on here, it isn’t updated) hoping to early promo to manager at the end of my senior 2 year. All signs point to this happening at my current firm based on reviews and discussions with my counselor and teams. I feel pretty behind in comp, and could probably get a $25k bump by switching firms. That is a lot of money but comes with having to rebuild my reputation at the new firm and probably not promoting early. Worth it?

I’ve been tracking the recent tech layoffs. It’s hard too see so many talented people be affected. Has anyone seen data around the type of roles being most affected? It looks like Marketing Ops roles have been largely spared from the layoffs. What is everyone else seeing and experiencing out there?
