I graduated in May 2020 and found myself excepting a Junior Art Director position in Healthcare. I never saw myself in health but with many agencies having hiring freezes I decided to get some experience and save up some money in the meantime. Fast forward one year; I’ve added a new campaign to my website and I’m starting to apply to consumer agencies again. Any tips to help me make the transition? Any place to avoid? Who have you noticed is hiring again? Thanks in advance :)
My firm is virtual - all work done remotely in home office unless on client site. Haven’t traveled since mid October. It’s driving me nuts. What do you recommend doing?
What would be a good salary for a project manager (3+y exp) in agency environment in NYC?
EY GDS Business Consulting team is hiring for Business Process Management experienced roles (Staff and Senior) across multiple locations. DM if you relevant experience in developing process flows, data pages, declarative rules, reporting, UX design and hands on experience with Pega platform.
Hi guys, I am due to start working at EY soon within audit. I will be commuting to the office by train when in the Birmingham office. This will be from Leicester. Usually if a commute is about 1.5 hours+, Mazars authorises hotels. Is there a similar policy at EY? When not in the office I would prefer to drive to clients, not sure if me being in Leicester affects whether they will tell me to suck up an extended commute? Would a mileage claim be from the office to the client? Thanks!
This is for ACN fish or ex acn fish. The project I'm on (more like a staff aug but we're there to support the client deliver their internal project) isn't doing well. I'm new to ACN - well, big consulting in general, so trying to understand what that means for us, and for me? (Also, for context - I'm one of the 4 SM's on this engagement (it's a large client and we have a 10+ team)). Continued in comments below...
Can anyone please refer me for any openings in accounts payable profile ( PTP) , i have a experience of 2 years in Account payable domain. please reach out to me if there are any referrals Or opportunities available.
Currently live in the DMV and don’t anticipate going back to work or on client site through the end of the year. My lease is up next month and my parents live in upstate NY. Should I just put my things in storage and stay with them until I have to be back in the city? Is anyone still leaving their respective cities?
Why do people want to work for UMM/MF? I feel likes it’s a rat race follow the heard mentality with little long term upside (you get paid a bunch for two years but then what?). I’m really keen to go the MM but feel like I’m making a mistake the way my friends talk about it…. In my mind a small younger growing fund is such a better opportunity — more learning, exposure, promotional potentially, and, hopefully, culture. What am I missing?
Anyone here from Spotify? Ive seen a few roles I’m interested in but wanted to learn more about the work culture.
Align to non-M&A offering but do a lot of work in the space (DD, integrations). B4 recruiter reached out and wants me to provide resume for review with hiring partner in M&A space. Does it work if I provide a bio with summary of M&A projects (client names removed) instead of a traditional resume? Also plan to list education and past experience but primary focus on recent M&A work
That awkward moment when the whole no-shave November thing makes half of your team look like serial killers...client asked for it
Anyone from BCG want to connect on a possible referral? 2 years exp looking to apply for an entry level role.

Do most MBA program fees cover mental health services through the university such as counseling?
Hey guys, do you know what’s the use case for the phone in the bathroom? I’m comfortably seated in my newly refurbished SPG preferred room and I wonder why they kept the phone in here 🚽🤔
Do you feel like suits fit you weirdly? Sooo tempting to get one tailored, but I’m getting my MBA right now so I’m broke. What do you ladies do to make sure you look sharp with off the rack?
For those of you not renewing your leases/ moving out of cities, what are you doing with your furniture, etc. for the time being? How are you facilitating your move? Lease is up at the end of the month and not sure if I should renew. Would hate to spend that much $$ if I’m not living there (I’m currently WFH with my parents in a different state)
I have an upcoming 30 minute general interview with McK soon for a specialist consultant position. Any advice or tips regarding this interview? It appears to be the precursor to the case interviews. Also what does the career ladder and comp look like for the specialist consultant positions? McKinsey & Company
I've seen folks around here ask for referrals to companies. I'm looking for a referral to KPMG's Data & Analytics practice at an equivalent level to EY manager (currently S3 here on track for promotion this upcoming year). How does that process usually work on this app? I'm open to other consulting firms as well but already have referrals for most of my targets. I specialize in AI & ML and my differentiator is being able to effectively translate between executives and data scientists.
Anyone taking the CISA tomorrow?

Moving from big4 to core strategy firm (read MBB). Have 2 months before I join the new firm. Wondering what I can do to prepare myself, are there any courses, books that would help me gain some skills. I have mostly done PMO, tech implementations kind of work so far. Don't want to leave any stone unturned and want to make it work.
no swag bags this year for departing GSAPers, what’s even the point if i can’t rock a sick daddy D patagucci at b-school
Got a call from an AWS recruiter for an L7 Principal TAM position. Any thoughts? She mentioned total comp maxes out at $300k, which is approx 25% below my target for jumping. Am I being too greedy?
